This senior role should be able to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all data governance activities, develop data audit and validation methods and procedures to ensure quality and effectiveness of legacy data conversion to various systems.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and presentation skills and should be able to work cross functionally with all departments to ensure speed and accuracy in the change management process. He will develop policies that focus on best practices and provide the framework for decision-making when there are conflicting views among various business groups and operational functions. He will be able to identify data improvement initiatives and obtain support from functional organizations.
The candidate has 5 to 7 years experience with business intelligence, data warehousing, decision support, reporting and data governance tools, preferably in a financial environment.
